Jay Stone – Evenings/Weekends
I was born in Edmonton, and raised between the City of Champions and Airdrie.
After spending the past 16 years all across Canada, it was time to come back home. In the non-frozen months, you’ll usually find me outside with my girlfriend Sara; running or hiking the plethora of river valley trails we have around Edmonton, or camping & fishing in the mountains… fresh air in the summer is such a great feeling!
In the frozen months, you’ll usually find me in Mexico, or dreaming of Mexico while playing for a rec league hockey team. Go Narwhals! You’ll also likely find me on the slopes with my snowboard. I’m an avid photographer, I love being behind the lens. But what I love most in life is being a Dad to my two beautiful daughters, Kaydence and Destany.
Other things you may not know about me; I have my Solo Skydiving Licence and have jumped out of an airplane 30 times. Only once did I have to use my emergency parachute…true story. Saying that, there’s no cooler experience in the world than freefall, and I always say everyone should feel that at least once in their lifetime! I have also served in the Canadian military, I spent 5.5 years in the Air Force as an Avionics Systems Technician before getting in to the radio business.
