Join the Cosmopolitan Music Society for a tribute to those who served and are serving in the military. The evening starts with a silent auction followed by a concert, featuring stirring marches and popular wartime songs. Tickets are $25, available from local Legion halls, the Cosmopolitan Music Society and Tix on the Square.
On November 6th, there will be No Stone Left Alone. Students from junior high schools, soldiers, and other members of the community will mark Remembrance Day by placing 10,000 poppies, one on each and every soldier’s headstone in the Fields of Honour throughout the City of Edmonton and area. The main event is at the Beechmount Cemetery, with simultaneous smaller ceremonies at many of the local cemeteries.

Beverly Memorial Cenotaph Remembrance Day Service
Join in the 9:30 am service (11907-47 Street) before parading to the Cenotaph at 10:20 am. The ceremony at the Cenotaph will commence at 10:50 am. All are welcome to join for a time of remembrance and reflection.

City Hall Remembrance Day Celebration
The City Hall Remembrance Day Ceremony will be lead by the Commanding Officer of The Loyal Edmonton Regiment on November 11. His Worship, Mayor Don Iveson will also be in attendance. Following the service, there will be an outdoor procession to the City Hall cenotaph, where wreaths will be laid. Seating in the City Room will start at 9:45am and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating must be completed no later than 10:10am. Spectators are asked to be in place by 10:50 am for the wreath laying ceremony outside.

City of Edmonton Butterdome Remembrance Day Service
Join the City of Edmonton at the Butterdome Remembrance Day Service paying tribute to those who have served our country. This annual indoor service is traditionally hosted by Alberta’s Lieutenant Governor, and is open to everyone. Guests are asked to be in their seats by 10:00 am.
