Up!FAQ’s – for Up! Fest
Q: When is Up!Fest and when do the bands starts?
A: June 25th. Gates at Noon. Blackboard Jungle at 2pm. Prism at 4pm. Loverboy at 7pm.
Q: Where is Up!Fest?
A: Waterfront Park, Wabamun Village (NOT the Provincial park). A 45-minute drive West of Edmonton, on the Yellowhead.
Q: How much are tickets?
A: The concert is FREE. Unless you won VIP seating on Up! 99.3, it is first-come, first-serve. Bring a lawn chair & sunscreen!
Q: What else is going on?
A: Barry Jay’s & Rainbow Marine is giving free boat demos all day on Lake Wabamun. Bring your ID.
Q: Is there food and drink?
A: Yes, The Beer Hunter will sell Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chips, Beer (in the beer gardens only) and other beverages, including water.
Q: Can I bring my own drinks?
A: Your own non-alcoholic drinks? Yes, but stay away from glass containers. And please don’t drink & drive.
Q: Is there parking?
A: Parking is FREE, in the village (street parking). There is NO on-site parking. Caution when crossing the tracks to the festival site!
Q: Can we bring our boat to enjoy the show from the water?
Q: Can we meet the bands?
A: Both bands do a special meet & greet for contest winners, then they will be selling merch and signing for the general public.
Q: What is the bathroom situation?
A: There are ample unisex bathroom stations on all four corners of the grounds. You may want to bring hand sanitizer.
Q: Is this a charitable event?
A: Yes! The Beer Hunter generously donates sales
to the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton. There is also a donation table on-site.
Q: When is all this fun done?
A: By about 9:30pm, so that you can crawl back into work in the morning.
