A community pop culture store that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in, Recognizing the uniqueness and diversity of all, encompassing a vast variety of materials including BIPOC and LGBTQIA. They want to ensure that they are meeting your needs and interests and helping you find that special item. If you haven’t set foot in their store yet, you’re missing out. Since their opening in September 2021, owners Sylvia Douglas and Jay Bardyla continue to give back to the community. They have had fundraising events for the Edmonton Food Bank & the Stollery Children’s Hospital (Art for Heart). Created the artist-in-residence program. Numerous workshops put on by local artists (i.e. comic drawing, miniature painting, D&D, Gunpla meet ups). Provide service to teachers and librarians looking to use comics to support their community. Supporting local artists and creators allowing them to showcase and sell their merchandise. Can’t wait to see what they do in 2023!
